Privacy Policy

Our Philosophy

Ridma was built with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought. We believe your health and wellness data is personal. Ridma is designed so that the data you log in the app stays under your control and is stored primarily on your device.

Data Collection

Ridma does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect or store your meal logs, fasting records, mood entries, notes, or HealthKit data on our own servers. Specifically, we do not use Ridma to collect:

Health Data

Meal logs, fasting records, mood entries, and similar wellness data are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage technologies. If you choose to integrate with Apple Health (HealthKit), Ridma may read data such as sleep, steps, and workouts to provide insights. This integration is optional and can be revoked at any time in your iPhone's Settings.

Ridma does not use your health or journaling data for advertising, and Ridma does not send your HealthKit data to RevenueCat or advertising platforms.

Experiments & Guidance

Ridma may offer optional focus areas, experiments, and pattern-based suggestions to help you explore your routines over time. These features are generated from the information available on your device and are meant as general wellness guidance only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

Any experiment you choose to start, along with the related progress and observations, is stored locally on your device and handled with the same privacy protections as the rest of your Ridma data.

Subscriptions and RevenueCat

If you purchase Ridma Premium, restore purchases, or view available subscription plans, Ridma uses Apple and RevenueCat to help process purchases, validate transactions, manage subscription status, and restore entitlements across installs. This means limited purchase-related information may be processed for subscription infrastructure.

Ridma does not send your meal logs, fasting records, mood entries, notes, or HealthKit data to RevenueCat.

Backups, iCloud, and Exported Files

If you enable iCloud device backup, Ridma data may be included in your Apple-managed device backup. Ridma may also let you create backup files or export copies of your data to the Files app. If you choose to store those files in iCloud Drive or another location available through Files, those copies may exist outside the app until you delete them.

Backup and export copies remain under your control. We do not review the contents of those files.

Third-Party Services

Ridma does not use third-party advertising SDKs, cross-app trackers, or analytics platforms. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook tracking, or similar ad-tech tools in the app.

For subscriptions only, Ridma uses RevenueCat as purchase infrastructure. Apple also processes App Store payment transactions according to Apple's own policies.

Data Export and Deletion

You own your data. You can export your data from within the app. Deleting the Ridma app removes the app's locally stored data from your device. However, any backup or export copies you previously created, including copies in the Files app, iCloud Drive, or device backups, may remain until you delete those copies separately.

Children's Privacy

Ridma is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's health or journaling data on our own servers.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. As the product evolves, we may revise this page to reflect changes to app features, subscriptions, or platform requirements.
